I supply all my own equipment and use a stylish, retro looking 'Vox' amplifier or the more powerful 'Cube' at larger venues. At events where more volume from my instrument is necessary, I have a warm sounding Bridge 5 string, which looks just like an acoustic violin but can be plugged directly into my amp or connected to an existing PA system and I can amplify my cello using my Fishman pick up. When I'm singing and playing in roaming performances I use a Shure wireless radio pack with a head mic and for electric/DJ shows I play a white S shaped violin with white LED lights.
Although both my amps are battery powered (so I can literally play anywhere!) all of my equipment is PAT tested, I have full public liability insurance and I can supply a risk assessment if required.
Yes! I enjoy playing and/or singing along with professionally arranged backing tracks, many of which I create myself to ensure they are of the highest quality. I'm more than happy to perform without accompaniment though if you'd prefer that option.
If you'd like any songs or pieces of music that aren't already in my repertoire, I include two free requests in my quote. For any more than two I charge £25 per song or piece.
Absolutely! I love to discover new music and am always excited to learn something I've never heard before. If I can't source a backing track I can make one myself so I can play any request at all...
no style of music or song choice is off limits!

Yes I am happy to go anywhere! Travel fees may apply (depending on location/flights/overnight stays etc) and the cost will always be made clear to you in your quote.
There's no limit to how long I can play for! All performances vary but I usually play 2 or 3 x 45 min sets with short breaks. For weddings at Fitzrovia Chapel, I play for 30 minutes as guests arrive, during the ceremony, and then for the remaining time for your drinks post ceremony which is usually around 45 mins to 1 hour. Proposals also vary but they're usually around 1 hour in total. As a rough guide for song choices, 1 hour is around 18 songs/pieces.

Bookings are for 1 hour but I usually end up playing longer if we're all having a great time! Sometimes I do two sets split between floors in the home or one inside / one outside for example. If I'm doing two, they're usually 45 mins per set.
